Initially employed to work with the business services team but also involved in developing the firm's overall strategy for business development, client service, fee generation, market penetration and vertical/horizontal marketing. Working extensively with the Managing Partner in implementing various initiatives including business planning, strategy implementation, on-line delivery, website development, social media, training and marketing campaigns. Working with the Heads of Department driving forward their business plans, and assisting in the business planning process. Also, looking at brand development and positioning and event organisation.

I was responsible for a small team focused on building a litigation presence in Plymouth and the surrounding area and established a nascent sports law team focused almost exclusively on the professional cycling sector. I acted for agents, riders and sponsors in conjunction with other team members of the firm.
